Young Mok Park
YM has spent most of his over 20 years of career in game industry. He was fortunate enough to be involved in launching blockbuster game titles mostly at top tier game productions. His first involvement was with Age of Empires at Microsoft which became top seller in Korea. During Korean gaming industry moving into online gaming, he joined Ncsoft launching Lineage 2 which soon became #1 MMORPG game in Korea. After Lineage 2 success, he moved to Blizzard Entertainment working on World of Warcraft which also became #1 MMORPG game in Korea. About 3 years ago, he moved to Crytek establishing APAC headquarter in Korea working on Cryengine and Warface game project.
Recently, he joined NHN (Hangame) as head of smart phone games and just set up a game development company called Orangecrew which creates games for smart devices under NHN investment. He studied mathematics at University of California at Berkeley and received his college degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, at Seoul National University. Additionally, he attended the University of New Orleans and received MBA degree.
