Roger C. Peng
Roger C. Peng is a partner in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is resident in the Beijing office. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and complex commercial transactions, with a particular focus on transactions in telecommunications, Internet, media, software, and other technology sectors. Mr. Peng has been recognized as leading lawyer in Private Equity in China and Venture Capital in Hong Kong and China by Chambers Asia. Mr. Peng has represented both investment funds and company clients in numerous private equity transactions and both acquirers and targets/sellers in various cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Peng was named in the Asian Legal Business Hot 100, an annual list of preeminent lawyers in the region. Mr. Peng received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1997 and he received his B.S. from Bridgewater College in 1991. He is fluent in English and Mandarin. Mr. Peng practiced in New York City before moving to Beijing and has practiced in the Greater China Region since 2000.
