LI Song
Dr. Song Li is an investment banker-turned serial Internet entrepreneur.
He is the founder of Digu.com, China’s leading location-based social check-in service, and Zhenai.com, China’s largest online matchmaking service.
Prior to founding Digu.com and Zhenai.com, he was chairman of MemeStar, a leading mobile SMS dating service in China (acquired by Sina in 2003 and renamed Sina Mobile).
Before becoming an Internet entrepreneur, Song worked in New York and Hong Kong as a financial derivatives dealer, and he was a Vice President of Fixed Income Division at Bear Stearns in New York and an Executive Director of Equities Division at Morgan Stanley Asia.
Song holds a Ph.D. in finance from Columbia University in the United States.
Song Li has been featured in many leading industry and general interest magazines in China such as “China Entrepreneur”, “the Founder”, “The Manager”, “IT Manager”, “Men’s Health”, “Huren Report”, as well as in television such as BBC, CNBC, Tokyo TV, Phoenix TV, Shanghai TV, Guangdong Satellite TV and Shenzhen Satellite TV.
