Kathy Xu
Ms. Xu has sixteen years of experience in growth capital investment in China. She has led several successful investments in China including 360buy.com, Tudou.com, Ganji.com, Zbird.com, Uzai.com, Netease.com, Inoherb Skincare, etc. Three of the invested entrepreneurs have become China's "Top 100 Richest Men".
Ms. Xu founded Capital Today in 2005 with a vision to help Chinese entrepreneurs build No.1 brands in China and a focus in the consumer, retail and Internet sectors. Ms. Xu was selected as one of " China Top 10 Venture Capitalists" by Forbes in 2008 &2009，and as one of the 25 most influential people in Asia ("2004 Stars of Asia") by Business Week. Previously Ms. Xu was the China Head and Managing Director at Barings Private Equity Asia Limited. Prior to that, Ms. Xu was an investment manager in Peregrine Direct Investments in Hong Kong, a senior auditor at Price Waterhouse in Hong Kong and a manager in Bank of China in Beijing.
