Duncan Leung

Duncan is the International Marketing and Partnership Manager of the Great Wall Club (GWC) and GMIC. Since joining GWC, he has helped to develop GWC's relationships through Asia, Europe, and the US, encouraging cooperation between GWC and technology organizations in these regions. Duncan is also the main organizer of the G-Startup Competition 2011, with a vision to connect early entrepreneurs with resources, especially in seed and early-stage startups. This year's startup competition saw an extended reach to startups across the globe, from 20 different countries, and partnerships with China's two main accelerators, Innovation Works and Chinaccelerator, and renown Silicon Valley accelerator, Plug and Play Tech Center, with over $15,000USD worth of prizes sponsored.
As one of the youngest members on the GWC team, he brings with him the "energy and vigor to persevere all odds" –Wen Chu, CEO, Great Wall Club.
Duncan graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign with a B.S. in Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering, and is a citzen of the world; with roots in Hong Kong, an upbringing in Singapore, a British background, and an American drive and ambition. Duncan was once-upon-a-time a wedding photographer in the US, and braves the Beijing streets with other fixed-gear bicyclists in the city.
