Fan BAO is the Founder and CEO of China Renaissance Partners. Since establishing China Renaissance in 2004, he has led the firm to successfully close more than $3 billion worth of transactions across a broad spectrum of industries including technology, new media, communications, healthcare, education, real estate, financial services and retail. Under the leadership of Mr. BAO, China Renaissance has become the leading boutique investment bank in China. China Renaissance have received awards The Best Boutique Investment Bank in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Prior to founding China Renaissance Partners in 2004, Mr. BAO was the Chief Strategy Officer of AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc., a leading IT service and software company in China. Previously, Mr. BAO was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse for seven years. Over that period, Mr. BAO advised numerous leading international companies, including Bell Canada, Novartis, RPR, Investor AB, NTT, Kepco and KT, on their equity and debt financings, M&A and restructurings. As an investment banker, Mr. BAO assisted his clients with over $7 billion capital markets and $60 billion M&A transactions worldwide.
