As the General Manager of Microsoft MSN, Anderson Liu is responsible for the overall operation of the company’s online services (Bing, Windows Live, MSN Portal and mobile Internet services), including marketing, sales, business development, local R&D, finance and HR etc.

Anderson Liu joined Microsoft MSN in 2004 as Vice President. He was responsible for the company’s full-range of mobile products and services at the beginning, and of all online and mobile products and services later. During his six years at Microsoft MSN, he led his team to roll out a host of innovative local products and services based on global platform, successfully established the brand image of Microsoft MSN among white-collars, and developed a large number of local partners.

Through the efforts by his team, Microsoft MSN China has made remarkable achievements in various online service fields. In June 2009, Microsoft introduced its Chinese search brand - Bing in the Chinese market, highlighting “delightful search experience”. By integrating Instant Messaging, email and communication services, Windows Live has gained great popularity with tens of millions of users in China. Meanwhile, with solid industry background and management experience, Anderson Liu led the local team and enlarged the company’s market share and expanded the business scope, such as rolling out one-stop mobile Internet service platform and a host of mobile services and products, launching eLive in partnership with China Telecom and introducing Messenger Security Add-on and “MSN Rainbow Project”along with partners. All have made great contribution to the Microsoft MSN China brand and improved user experiences in China.
