Alvin Wang Graylin
Mr. Graylin is a seasoned technology entrepreneur having over 17 years of management experience with nine years managing businesses in Greater China. Mr. Graylin co-founded mInfo in early 2005 and has lead mInfo to its market leader in mobile search and mobile advertising in China. mInfo is the exclusive partner for China Telecom’s Omni-search service and China Mobile’s SNS service for mobile search and advertising. mInfo was also selected by BOCOG as the official mobile search provider for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Mr. Graylin has rich entrepreneurial experiences prior to mInfo, having also been the founder and CEO of two other venture-backed technology start-ups in the US. Mr. Graylin began his career in the early 90’s at IBM and Intel designing what became the PowerPC and Itanium microprocessors. In the mid-90’s Mr. Graylin also helped establish the Intel organization in Shanghai, and lead the growth of its consumer PC business in China. He later ran Asia Pacific Marketing for Intel Online Services in the late 90’s. Mr. Graylin headed the global Enterprise and Consumer business units at Trend Micro, and security products/services business at WatchGuard Technologies in the early 2000’s.
Mr. Graylin earned an MS in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He graduate top of his department with a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington. Mr. Graylin was born in China and educated in the US. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
